Get ready to experience the toughest two minutes in sports! From August 21-23, 2025, firefighters from across the northeast will converge in Erie, Pennsylvania, to compete in the SERVPRO Firefighter Challenge League (FCL) Northeast Region Classic. This prestigious event is part of the Task Force Tips (TFT) Firefighter Challenge Championship Series, a competition that pushes the best of the best to their limits in a showcase of skill, strength, and determination.
The last time this event was held in Erie was 20 years ago, and Snap-tite is proud to bring it back home.

A Test of Firefighting Excellence
The SERVPRO FCL hosts up to eight classic events throughout the year, culminating in the World Championship event each October. Competitors from various fire departments and brigades will step into the LION® Arena of the Brave, fully suited in tactical gear, to take on a series of rigorous challenges that mirror real-world firefighting tasks. These challenges include:
High-Rise Pack Carry – A test of endurance and strength.
Hose Hoist – Simulating critical rescue scenarios.
Forcible Entry – Demonstrating firefighters’ ability to break through barriers.
Hose Advance – A crucial skill for controlling fires.
Victim Rescue – Showcasing life-saving techniques under pressure.
A One-Way Ticket to Nationals and the World Championship
The Northeast Region Classic will welcome firefighters from Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The top competitors from this regional event will advance to the U.S. Nationals, with the goal of reaching the World Challenge in Nashville, TN, in October.
With Erie poised to be the epicenter of firefighting excellence in August 2025, the event promises not only to highlight the exceptional talent of firefighters but also to bring energy, excitement, and thousands of visitors to the region.
