All-American Hose provided hose for so many uses during the 2019 FDIC Show!
The 2019 FDIC show has come and gone, but we at All-American Hose are still thinking about the wonderful experience we had and the amazing turnout (pun intended!) of fire industry professionals coming together to advance the industry.
We’re grateful for each and every conversation, demonstration, and meeting we had with fellow exhibitors and attendees at FDIC. Spending a week talking to hundreds of firefighters and industry experts sure is a great way to spend our time!
If you stopped by our booth at FDIC then you’re certainly aware of some of the great things that we’re doing at All-American Hose related to rubber hose, jacketed and double-jacketed hose, but did you also know that All-American Hose provided hose product all around the convention center?
All-American Hose provided hose for so many different partners at this years FDIC Show. Not only was our PONN Conquest used as the challenge hose in this years Firefighter Combat Challenge but we also supplied hose for so many more applications, like the Water Flow Zone.
All-American Hose was seen flowing water all over the place. We were fortunate to be able to provide some of our best and most-loved hose to flow water to and from demonstrations. We also partnered with RollnRack to showcase the ease of rolling up your hose with their product.
Our hose was seen in the Firefighter Combat Challenge.
Our PONN Conquest was pulled up to the top of the tower and pulled and used during a leg of the race. The Firefighter Combat Challenge is a way to ”encourage firefighter fitness and demonstrate the profession’s rigors to the public.”
Wearing “full bunker gear” and the Scott 5.5 Air-Pak breathing apparatus, pairs of competitors race head-to-head as they simulate the physical demands of real-life firefighting by performing a linked series of five tasks including climbing the 5-story tower, hoisting, chopping, dragging hoses and rescuing a life-sized, 175 lb. “victim” as they race against themselves, their opponent and the clock.” (http://www.firefighterchallenge.com/).
