POLYESTER SINGLE JACKET FORESTRY HOSE

Revered for its strength and portability, 8F Fire Hose Type 187 is a lightweight, all-synthetic fire hose with a polyurethane lining inside a polyester jacket that meets the USDA Forest Service Specification 5100-187 for Synthetic Lined fire hose. It meets the latest Type ll Specification—and is protected from mildew with no drying required. Adding Dura-Cote™ treatment boosts abrasion, heat and flame resistance while virtually eliminating water pick-up. Available in 50′ or 100′ lengths, 8F includes aluminum rocker lug or quarter turn forestry couplings and meets or exceeds the low weight requirements of the specifications.

  • Super Tough. Polyester single jacket polyurethane hose and liner is light in weight and heavy on rugged dependability on the fireground.
  • Greater Value. Optional Dura-Cote protective treatment extends the life of the hose, increases abrasion, heat, flame and petrochemical resistance—and protects from mildew, with no drying time required.
  • High-Performance. Works hard in temperatures from -40° to 150°F (-40° to 65°C), meeting USDA Forest Service specifications.
