IT MANAGER
IT Manager
Snap-tite Hose, a leading global manufacturer of lay-flat Hose is seeking an IT Manager for the US based operations. This position will oversee all IT responsibilities for multiple manufacturing facilities. This position plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects, serve as a liaison between business and technology aspects of projects, and will monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage company IT networks, equipment and connectivity for all locations
- Support company users and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Quickly identify urgency and impact of incidents & prioritize support response
- Define, document automate and improve processes
- Work with and manage 3rd party IT relationships
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Develop or update project plans for IT projects
- Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables
- Communicate with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Establish and execute a project communication plan
- Ability to pull information as needed from the various systems used by the company
Requirements
- An excellent working knowledge of computer hardware and software – desktop computers, laptops, displays, printers, keyboards, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently track technical inventory, systems and upgrades.
- Possess a can do approach and attitude, be a team player, and have good communication skills to all personnel across the organization
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions daily in an effective manner to prioritize workload.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Office 365 and cloud-based computing.
- Experience in Great Plains 2018 & SQL is preferred
- Good critical and creative thinking skills for problem solving and the ability to learn new processes and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work with internal and external customers, understand their technical issues and provide timely help and solutions in person and remotely, via telephone, email, and other media.
- Educate the workforce in the basics of our computer systems and applications increasing general computer proficiency across the organization.
- A creative flair for using social media and in creating and updating websites.
- Prior experience in an IT help desk environment required within a tech services or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience working with managing social media content preferred.

GENERAL LABOR
Currently Snap-tite Hose has an opening for General Laborers. This individual will develop a complete knowledge of hose manufacturing, hose coupling, and testing. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with eligibility for pre-approved overtime.
Responsibilities
General:
o Understand the work flow.
o Understand the production schedule.
o Proficiency in all steps of hose making, coupling, testing, and packaging.
Test Table Area:
o Understand stencil process and understand how to read stencil specs when required.
o Understand how to hook hose up to adapters and use all safety devises.
o Understand how to run controls to test hose to proper test pressures.
o Understand draining process of the hose coil.
Coupling Area:
o Know how to set up and operate the expansion machines.
o Couple Storz couplings.
102 Area:
o Insert rubber at upper end of insert table
o Properly understand how to connect hose at the top end of the cure table.
o Maintain adapters, bells, and cables.
o Stencil hose per specs.
o Understand and operate touch screen on top end
o Cutting and coiling plug gauges on all hose.
o Understand the Perforator and Reverser.
Normalizing Area:
o Properly hook up and unloading reels.
o Hook up and maintain adapters, bells, and cables.
o Understand how to run controls to normalize and water test hose.
o Read a pi-tape.
o Inspect a hose for defects.
o Understand how to stencil hose to spec.
o Properly prepare hose for shipment.
Required Skills and Ability
o Employee must be physically able to work in areas safely- including safely use machinery and tools.
o Understand and verify quality with gauges, tools, specs, and charts.
o Employee must understand how to fill out all paperwork for all areas.
o Must possess computer knowledge enough to perform the job.
o Must be a problem solver with good mechanical ability, and work well as a team.
o Employee must be able to communicate with the lead, quality tech, or supervisor any issues they may find that affects the performance of the area, or product.

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
At Snap-tite Hose, our employees are the innovative catalysts for success in the design, manufacture, and sale of high-quality industry-leading hose. Currently we have an opening for an Accounting Specialist in our Fairview, PA facility. This role will report directly to the Controller.
The Specialist role will be responsible for:
Accounts Receivable Duties
-Process and post customer payment transactions
-Maintain customer account information and contact customers regarding balances beyond terms
-Identifies and resolves account discrepancies through communication with internal and external resources
-Identifies and implements job work process improvements and documents process changes
-Prepares and distributes key performance indicator information related to measurable targets
For the Cash portion of the role, major responsibilities include:
- Daily reconciliation of Cash accounts from bank to general ledger
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in banking transactions
- Identifies and implements job work process improvements and document process changes
For the Inventory portion of the role, major responsibilities include:
- Ensure daily inventory transactions are properly recorded and reconciled in the general ledger
- Validate and update costs associated with materials and supplies as needed
- Maintain and update standard costs and material price and usage variances
- Provide inventory cost and usage variances to stakeholders
For the Accounts Payable portion of the role, major responsibilities include:
-Enter vendor invoices after reviewing receiving documents and validating receipt of goods or services.
-Charge approved expenses to accounts and cost centers based on information provided by authorized person responsible for the goods or services received.
-Pays vendors by scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase orders, contract, invoice, or pricing discrepancies.
– Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
-Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
-Maintains historical records by filing documents both in physical files and electronic files.
-Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
– Updates job work instructions when processes change.
– Reconcile unmatched payable and debit cards.
– Obtain approval of invoices.
-Generate weekly payments list.
-Process employee expense reports after obtaining approvals.
-Completes other tasks assigned by Controller.
Essential Skills for Success

- College degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with GP Dynamics preferred.
